Let’s fast forward past the part where we tell you all about meeting online and Hinge bringing us together….and skip to the good stuff. So there we were, two souls searching for something. And there, in the blankness of hope that was covid, we found each other. Our first date was at the Kimberly Hotel, a quaint rooftop bar in Midtown, Manhattan. We sat there across from each other arguing about topics that not a single soul sitting here today would bring up on a first date. That’s when we both knew that this could be something real. A few cocktails and IPAs lead to cheeseburgers, and those burgers lead to a first kiss. No one would have expected a single kiss would change lives in such a way, but it did. The next 4 years held some of our most cherished memories. From ski trips with the gang, summer wine touring on Keuka Lake, and late nights pleading with each other to trade 2 sheep for some hay, we fell in love more and more each day. Finally, a proper year presented itself, 2025. We screamed our hearts out to PINK PONY CLUB for Brooke’s 30th, got engaged in Chamonix, France, rode on horse back through Montana, and put down roots in Mahwah NJ after closing on our first house. It was a year that we will cherish forever. No one tells you about the struggles, hardships, and arguments of becoming one. No one tells you what it takes to actually commit to a life with another.
