Question

IN LIGHT OF COVID...

Answer

Do you need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to attend our wedding? No. As of right now, we are moving forward with our wedding as planned. We will be monitoring the state of COVID-19 in Colorado as we approach November 11, 2022, and honoring any state guidelines set forth. While we hope to see all of you there, we also understand that joining us may not be possible at this time. Overall, the level of safety and comfort you feel is most important to us. We encourage you to pursue the best option for you, your family, and your health. If you do not feel comfortable attending, please RSVP no - we understand! We look forward to celebrating safely with as many of you as we can on November 11, 2022. Please check back here for updates regarding COVID-19 as our date approaches.

Question

I'M DEFINITELY COMING. WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY TRIP?

Answer

Our best advice is to start thinking about your travel plans as soon as possible. Most hotels and car rentals allow for cancellation of reservations up to 72 hours prior to travel.

Question

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony (2:00 pm) to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled! :)

Question

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

Answer

Ceremony Site: The Red Rocks Trading Post has a limited space parking lot. There is an additional parking lot just to the south of the Trading Post. Please arrive at least 30 minutes early to allow for time to walk to the venue. Here is more information about getting to the Red Rocks Park https://www.redrocksonline.com/plan-your-visit/getting-here/ Reception Site: The Rose, Golden CO. There are 2 parking structures behind The Rose - there is also a parking lot 1/2 block west of The Rose on 12th Street. You are allowed 2-hours of free parking in these structures/lots, just be sure to register your vehicle at the indicated pay station or using their mobile app.

Question

WILL FOOD AND DRINKS BE SERVED AT THE RECEPTION?

Answer

Absolutely! Cocktail hour will take place from 4-5pm when Appetizers, and an Open Bar with domestic and local craft beers, wine, iced tea, water, coffee, and soft drinks will be available. For dinner, we will be having a sit-down plated meal. Option #1 Grilled Vegetable Lasagna - (V|GF|DF|Vegan) Option #2 Lentil Penne Pasta - (V|DF|Vegan) As a late-night snack, we'll have the Bride's favorite, french fries. *The Bride and Groom are excited to offer only yummy plant-based food options. If you have any allergies, please specify in your RSVP and/or directly with the Bride or Groom.

Question

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

Answer

Our wedding will be an adults-only event. While we absolutely love your kiddos, we’d also love for you to have a night off with us!

Question

WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than June 1, 2022, so that we can make adequate arrangements for our guests.

Question

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE IN COLORADO?

Answer

Colorado weather can be tricky! It will be mid-November in Colorado and the weather could be sunny and 60° or snowy and 30°. The ceremony is outdoors and will be held rain, snow or shine.. We recommend packing sweaters and/or jackets. If you would prefer to not "weather the storm" should there be one, then we encourage you to still join us for the reception indoors where there will be an open bar with lots of beer and wine to warm you up.

Question

IS THE CEREMONY OUTDOORS OR INDOORS?

Answer

Our ceremony is outdoors with beautiful mountain and city views. Our reception will take place indoors.

Question

CAN I TAKE AND SHARE PHOTOS OR VIDEOS AT YOUR WEDDING?

Answer

We'd like to see all of your beautiful faces and for you to witness our love without the distraction of devices during our ceremony. We ask that you please keep all cell phones and cameras turned off or put away during the ceremony portion of our evening. We've hired a wonderful team to capture all of our special moments and we promise to share them with you. During the reception, feel free to take all the photos and videos you would like. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #BALCMeant2B on all socials so we can keep track of all of your beautiful pictures and find them once the hangovers wear off!

Question

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Answer

Attire is cocktail, semi-formal. Gentlemen, grab your dress pants and a button up and add a tie if you'd like. Ladies, a nice dress or jumpsuit is perfect. Whatever you do, don't forget your dancing shoes!
