We're getting married!

“I had Fettuccine Alfredo for lunch yesterday,” said the cute boy in Bible class. A few seconds before, I told him that my rapper name would be Little Fettuccine Alfredo, by which he responded with a claim about his lunch. Alas, our first interaction. Even then, Levi occupied far more space in my thoughts than a boy from Bible class probably should have. (and with such a smooth first impression, how could he not?). And thus began my enduring captivation with the cute boy in Bible class. Our (almost) second conversation: sitting on cold concrete beside one another in a card game. Levi tried to collect all the fives (which was opposite to the game’s objective) and it made me giggle. I started collecting sevens (again, very far from the objective). Before long, the game itself faded into the background. The cards, the people around us, even the buzz of conversation under the moonlight seemed less important than the boy sitting next to me. What began with a joke about pasta was slowly becoming something more. Looking back now, neither of us could have guessed that a Bible class conversation and a terribly played card game would be the beginning of our story. But somewhere between fettuccine Alfredo and a pile of useless cards, I found my favorite person.
