Travel Note
When you land in Budapest, you can conveniently walk into the line for the taxis! They are trustworthy and very easy to find. There will be a booth where you'll tell the address of the hotel or place you're staying, and then you'll wait in line for your turn to hop into a taxi! They take card, but always have some Forint(Hungarian currency) on you just to be safe!
Travel Note
Here is a recommended transportation service that you can use to reserve for your travels if you'd like. Alternatively (and much more cost-efficiently), you can use the app Bolt, their equivalent to Uber, to get around the city. However, they are sometimes rude so we recommend taking a taxi from the airport to your hotel. The prices for the transportation service are in Euros; cheapest option being $80USD. The average price for a Bolt taxi ride from BUD Airport to The Clark Hotel(where some of you will be staying in Budapest) is $30-40USD even for an XL car. I highly recommend downloading the Bolt app even if you decide to use a transportation service, just in case and for getting around the city with ease. The hardest part will be getting out of Budapest, but once you do it’s all one open road to the countryside! Don’t forget to book automatic if you are not comfortable with manual!

Reminder: there is ZERO alcohol tolerance in Hungary if you are pulled over
