Questions & Answers

Question

What should guests expect from the weekend?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony on Thursday (8/14) will be an elopement in Glacier National Park. Since it is an "elopement," only a handful of family members will be invited as guests to attend the ceremony. The rest of the weekend is going to be full of vacation-style activities and celebration! Our reason for inviting you to be our guests is because we hope that you will come vacation and celebrate with us. We hope that you will come explore the beauty of northwest Montana with our family and friends and treat this weekend like a vacation of your own. Our schedule listed on this website consists of the activities we will do over the course of the weekend, but please feel free to vacation in a way that brings you joy and relaxation. The celebration dinner on Saturday (8/16) is the main event where we will hope to see each of our valued friends and family sitting at our tables together. If you don't feel like a Montana vacation is in the cards for your 2025, we will miss your presence dearly, but we understand completely. Thank you for being such an important part of our lives where we would extend this invitation to you.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are several towns in the valley, and they each have their own amenities and charm. If traveling with a group, we recommend you all decide which town suits your desires and look for accommodations in that town. Read a little more about these towns below, and be sure to check out our “Things to do” page for a little more information before making your decision. Whitefish: Whitefish is the northernmost town and located at the base of Big Mountain. Prices here may be a little higher than other towns. Whitefish has a ton of local shops, bars, and restaurants; and the nightlife is great. Kalispell: Kalispell is the largest town and is located in the middle of the valley. There are more restaurants and amenities in Kalispell, but the night life in this town is a little less than some of the neighboring towns (Whitefish & Bigfork). Bigfork: Bigfork is on the south end of the valley and located on the northeastern shore of Flathead Lake. This is one of the smaller towns in the valley, but it has a lot of restaurant and nightlife options to offer. Other key locations: - Brooke and Joseph will be staying in Coram and will be traveling into town(s) for any festivities. - Keith lives about 10 minutes east of Kalispell. - Dinner on Saturday will be in the town of Lakeside which is on the south end of the valley on the northwestern shore of Flathead lake.
