If you will be in town on Saturday, October 5, please join us for welcome drinks and bites at Electric Cool-Aid, owned by two of our dear friends, Ben Schwartz and Angela DelBrocco. This bar is an outdoor bar in the bustling Shaw neighborhood of Northwest DC. Their specialty is frozen drinks, but they also offer canned beverages. Join us for some pre-wedding mingling and smiles! We do not recommend wearing stiletto heels to the welcome party, and recommend you bring a light jacket to stay warm. Vibe is casual.

Ceremony

Please arrive at 4:30 pm and enjoy a glass of champagne! The ceremony will begin, promptly, at 5:00 pm! Attire is semi-formal. Please note that the ceremony will be in the grass, so stiletto heels are not recommended. Cowboy boots are welcomed ;)
Other important information: -Please bring your drivers license or ID card. There is security at the gate and, depending on if you are using a ride share service or are coming on the bus from the Omni Shoreham Hotel, you may be asked for your ID -There are bathrooms located both in Lincoln's Cottage and in the Visitor's Center that are open to guests -Smoking is not permitted in or around Lincoln's Cottage. There will be one designated smoking area outside the reception tent. Please ask the tour guides/Lincoln's Cottage staff if you cannot find it
Cocktail Hour

You are welcome to explore the entire first floor of Lincoln's Cottage during the cocktail hour. Lincoln's Cottage tour guide staff will be on site to escort you to the second floor of Lincoln's Cottage. Please do not go to the second floor without a tour guide. Please be prepared to tip your friendly bartenders ;)
Reception

Sloppy Mama's, a local BBQ joint located just outside of DC in Arlington, Virginia, will be slingin' BBQ for dinner. Available options will be Brisket, Ribs, Pork, BBQ Jackfruit (meatless option), with sides of Mac and Cheese, Collard Greens, and Coleslaw. Dessert will be Donuts from the beloved Donut Run, local to DC Please be prepared to tip your friendly bartenders ;)
