Things To Do

As lovers of Vancouver, we are so excited to show off our city to our out-of-province guests. We have listed some of our favourite spots and restaurants.

Rain or Shine Ice Cream

1926 West 4th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6J 1M6, Canada

Eric and Brooke had their first date at the Kitsilano location of Rain or Shine. As Brooke is an ice cream enthusiast, this is a very popular date spot. The salted caramel is highly recommended!

Pür & Simple

299 East 10th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V5T 4V1, Canada

One of our favourite brunch spots. The eggs benedict is highly recommended!

Anatoli Souvlaki

5 Lonsdale Avenue, North Vancouver, BC V7M 2E4, Canada

This is one of Brooke's favourite Greek restaurants in the city and she has tried almost all of them. This restaurant is located near Lonsdale Quay and has one of the greatest views of the city.

Osteria al Centro

3087 Slocan Street, Vancouver, BC V5M 3E4, Canada

Located at the Italian Cultural Centre three minutes away from Brooke and Eric's home, we recommend the carbonara and foccacia at Osteria al Centro. It is truly life changing!

Deep Cove Kayak Centre

2156 Banbury Road, North Vancouver, BC V7G 2T1, Canada

Kayaking in Deep Cove gives you one of the most beautiful views in the Lower Mainland. We recommend that you stop at Honey's Doughnuts while you are here to get one of their famous cake-style doughnuts.

Whytecliff Park | West Vancouver

7102 Marine Drive, West Vancouver, BC V7W 2T3, Canada

Whytecliff Park is a very special place for Brooke and Eric. As Whytecliff is located a 20 minute walk from Eric's childhood home, he spent plenty of time here as a child. As part of their weekly routine, Brooke and Susie walk to Whytecliff every Sunday and often swim here in the summer. Here you are likely to spot many seals!

Ambleside Park | West Vancouver

1150 Marine Drive, West Vancouver, BC V7T 2Z1, Canada

At Ambleside Park, you can walk along the sea wall and have a view of the Lion's Gate Bridge and Stanley Park. If you're lucky, you may see whales but you're likely to see seals!

Bloedel Conservatory

4600 Cambie Street, Vancouver, BC V5Y 2M4, Canada

At Bloedel Conservatory you can see dozens of different types of birds and tropical plants. It is a great place to stop at if you are walking around Queen Elizabeth Park.

Jericho Beach

Vancouver, BC, Canada

Jericho Beach is known in Vancouver to being home to dozens of rabbits. In addition to spectacular views, you may get to see some bunnies!
