Dawson and Brooke met while working at Duke Regional Hospital. Dawson originally worked day shift, but after meeting Brooke, he switched to nights to spend more time with her. A few dates and magic tricks later, they made it official on June 15th, 2022. On April 5, 2025, Dawson surprised Brooke with a proposal in front of her closest friends and family at Duke Gardens - the perfect place to honor where their story began. Now they can't wait to tie the knot in just a few months!
