Please arrive at the venue no later than 3:30. This will give you time to park, either walk/shuttle over to the ceremony, catch up with people you haven't seen in a while, and find a seat.
While we love all of the children in our lives, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. Thank you for your understanding!
No, our goal is to keep our very special day as intimate as possible, we are choosing to celebrate with only our closest family and friends. Thank you for respecting our wishes!
We ask that you wear cocktail/semi-formal attire. For women, you can wear a knee-length cocktail dress, jumpsuit, midi dress, etc. For men, you can wear a suit and tie or just a button-up dress shirt with slacks (no ties if you don't want one!). It is not often you get to dress up, so just have fun with it! We do ask for no jeans at the wedding and would GREATLY appreciate it if no one wore white!
Our beautiful ladies will be wearing Sage Green. **If possible, please try and stay away from this color**
Yes! The venue HIGHLY suggests women wear heels with good support such as wedges or thick heels. The reception area is covered in wood chips. We do NOT recommend stilettos. Cowboy/Cowgirl boots are also acceptable!
Absolutely! As we will be on a ranch, we figured it would be a fun touch if anyone wanted to wear their cowboy boots!
The average temperature in August ranges from a high of 81.9°F to a low of 47.7°F.
There will be plenty of parking for all. There will be an assigned area to park and a small shuttle provided to transport people from the parking lot to the ceremony area.
Our ceremony will be an unplugged ceremony so we ask that you please do not take any photos or videos during the ceremony. Feel free to take as many as you would like after the ceremony ends!
We have a very lengthy list of options you can stay at near the area on our "Travel" tab. The venue is a little remote, so if you do not want to drive back to Reno after a long night, we highly recommend staying somewhere close by.
Unfortunately there is not. We recommend staying close to the venue. There are many different options on the "Travel" tab of places to near by. Please note if you choose to stay in Reno, it is an hour drive to and from.
Most likely, you will not be able to find either an Uber or Lyft after the wedding. The venue is in a remote area and has very little transportation options.
The ceremony and reception will be entirely outdoors. If you think you may get cold later on at night, we highly recommend bringing a jacket just in case. If you're on the dance floor all night, we doubt you'll need it ;)
Yes! Drinks are on us! We will be having beer, wine, seltzers, and signature drink options plus a non-alcoholic section.
As it is one of Brooke and Dawson's favorite foods, we will be serving BBQ food.
If you have any other questions about the wedding, please feel free to text Brooke at 775-842-0784.
