Brooke and Dawson met when they were just 15 years old on February 21st, 2014. These two love birds were set up on a blind date to see the Disney movie, Frozen. After the movie, followed a dessert date at BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse to enjoy a delicious pizzookie. On this night, the couple shared endless laughs and smiles, and they both knew that this was something special. Just 22 days later, on March 15th, 2014, Dawson pulled up on Brooke's driveway, with a sign taped on his truck asking her to be his girlfriend. Throughout the years, their relationship grew, and their interests began to align. Brooke expanded her knowledge around baseball, and Dawson worked on learning Spanish. It didn’t take long for them to realize that they were soulmates and that they were meant to be together. After meeting at 15 years old, graduating high school together, being apart for a year in college, moving into their first apartment together, getting their baby doggy (who is their entire world), graduating college side-by-side, and starting their careers simultaneously… they can truly say that they have lived their lives with the other one right by their side. The love and support that these two have is something that they will share forever and always.

When Dawson first told Brooke that he loved her at 16 years old, he set up a scavenger hunt around town featuring memorable spots throughout the couple's brief 1 year together. the final spot was Dawson waiting for Brooke with a letter about why he loved her. Fast forward 9 years and Dawson decided to repeat this act of love, but at a much larger scale. Each clue contained a rose, a gift, a themed balloon and a poem written by dawson that would lead her to her next clue. The second to last clue led her back to the apartment where there was a suitcase, 3 dresses picked out by Dawson and a note saying to pick a dress, pack for the weekend and meet at an address. When Brooke showed up to the address which was a romantic little cabin up in Tahoe, she saw Dawson standing at the end of a rose petal covered walkway surrounded by lights leading the way. Dawson popped the question and she said... "FINALLY".
