We're Getting Married!

Sometimes love finds you when you least expect it — even at work. Arthur first came into Brooke’s life when he interviewed at their workplace, just two weeks after she had started. What began as friendly coworker conversations quickly turned into something deeper. Arthur’s teasing humor always made Brooke smile, and her quirky, dorky flirting made him laugh. When he pushed her buttons a little too much, she playfully left little toy turds with funny faces on his desk or car — her way of saying he was being a “turd.” At the time, Brooke was healing from a broken heart and the loss of her mom, believing love might never come her way. But with Arthur, things just felt easy — natural, and full of joy. Then, on Valentine’s Day 2024, Arthur worked up the courage to ask her out on their first date, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. In 2025, they took a trip to Ludington for Arthur’s birthday — which also happens to be the 4th of July. That afternoon, on the beach, Arthur surprised Brooke by getting down on one knee and asking her to marry him. She said yes without a second thought. Now, surrounded by the people they love most, Brooke and Arthur can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter of their story — the one that began with laughter, friendship, and a little bit of fate. 💍
