It's All Happening

We met on a cool night in March of 2017. We were both invited to a mutual friend's birthday party and luckily we both decided to go. Brooke vividly remembers rounding the corner to see Mason standing there and Mason vividly remembers our friend forcing us to hold hands saying 'i really want this to happen'. We were off to a strong start. We left that night having talked for a little at the party and Mason said he would get Brooke's number from a friend and call her later so we could set up a time to hang out. A few days passed and then, the infamous instagram dm finally arrived. "yo, Brooke..." more romantic words had never been spoken. Brooke was responding to the message on her way to Growlers (local bar in Charlotte) with some friends and as she hit send and opened the door, she saw Mason sitting at a table with a group of his friends. It was a pretty awkward evening, but it didn't matter! We set a date to hang out over a week from then (because we were both trying to play it cool ) and continued to text throughout the day. But within a few days, Mason said he couldn't wait any longer and wanted to move the date up to that day (swoon). So we went out on our first date and never stopped dating! Two ish years later of falling in love, getting to know each other, drinking lots of coffee and beer, lots of great times with friends and many trips to Asheville later, we decided it was time to make it official. Mason proposed on August 17th, 2019 along the Blue Ridge Parkway with Bon Iver playing in the background and on the most perfect evening. We are so excited to share our day with each of you. You all have meant so much to us throughout our relationship and lives. You've been there through the highs and the lows and seen us become who we are today and we couldn't imagine doing this without you. We can't wait to celebrate this incredible day with you!
