COVID-19 CRISIS UPDATES

With vaccines making the rounds (and a few of us with antibodies acquired the less preferable way) we are excited and hopeful that our wedding will proceed as planned for 10/2/21! Given that Covid-19 is ongoing we will have to abide by California and US protocols for gatherings which are ever evolving. We recommend that you proceed with RSVPs, booking accommodations, and travel. Please do be mindful of travel cancellation policies. Our accommodations will allow cancellations in the case that the Gov does not allow travel. Stay safe everybody!!

So, like... what do I wear?

Answer

Our recommended dress code is cocktail attire. Please dress to impress! There will be grass and uneven pathways so a more stable heel choice would be smart, ladies.

On that note.... what weather can we expect?

Answer

October weather varies a lot in California!! Highs can reach the 90's, lows can dip to the 50's. We will be outdoor uncovered for the ceremony so don't forget sunglasses and some SPF. Reception will be covered, and might get a little chilly later on - so bringing a layer is smart (unless you plan to hit the bar for a whiskey to warm you up).

Umm... can I get a ride?

Answer

YES! We are providing shuttle service to and from the venue (one location for ceremony and reception). Parking on site is minimal and we can not have anyone drinking & driving from the venue. RIDE SERVICES (Uber, Lyft, Taxi) are available but can be very slow and unreliable in the SY Valley. Shuttles will be available to transport guests from the venue at a few times in the evening. Specifics will be confirmed so please check back! Please let us know if there is a need for parking onsite as we will need to confirm availability (venue parking is reserved for vendors).

....can I bring a date?

Please search for your name in the RSVP section of our site. If you're allowed a plus one your partner's name or "guest" should appear. Please be sure to RSVP for BOTH yourself and your date.

I don't want the party to end! what are we doing after!!

Answer

Specifics on the after party and Sunday activities are to come. We don't want the party to end either! We know many of you are taking time out of your busy schedule to attend and we want to spend as much time with you as possible! Tentative after party location is the Sideways Lounge, at our hotel block. Brook can share some very interesting tales from this bar....

Are you going to feed me?

Answer

Are we ever?! We're having an ultra delicious local woman owned & operated BBQ dinner for everyone! What's an outdoor party in SYV without some BBQ! Appetizers will be served during our cocktail hour as well. That said, our options for those with restricted diets are limited. While we intend to have options that are vegan/vegetarian friendly there will be no vegan/vegetarian specific entree main. Don't fret - we'll have the sides to make up for it!!

And you will be so missed! We understand that not everyone can take the time and travel, so we dounderstand. Please RSVP NO as soon as you can so we can accommodate a change in plans.
