Tankwa Tented Camp does have some cabins and glamping tents which have been allocated to family and our bridal party (you will be informed if accommodation has been allocated to you).
For the rest of our beloved guests we will set up stretch tents for shade where you can set up your own tent or you can hire a tent with a bed and bedding from the venue, please reach out if you'd like to book one of these dome tents.

If you decide to enter the Tankwa via the R63 from Calvinia, Gannaga Lodge is a wonderful place to stay, on the rim of the Tankwa. If you take this route, you will need an off-road capable vehicle as you will come down the Gannaga Pass into the Tankwa. It's an epic road, drive it if you can!
