We are Getting Married!

Neither of us were ever big fans of dating apps, but somehow, in December 2023, we both happened to be on Hinge at the same time. It wasn’t something we expected much from, but little did we know, it would change everything. When it came time to meet in person, we decided on Turning Stone—a familiar enough place and a good halfway point. I was already going there with my family at an end of the year excursion and it took the pressure off of Adam to find a comfortable meeting place. It was the perfect neutral ground. We were both nervous—he’s naturally a little shy, and I was especially anxious since I had never been on a dating app date before. But as soon as we sat down and started talking, everything just clicked and we relaxed. Hours passed without us even realizing it. After that, I was the one who asked him on a second date—this time, we spent eight hours together, just talking and having a great time. By our third date, it was even better. We spent twelve hours together, neither of us wanting the date to end. From the start, being together felt so easy and natural, and every time we saw each other, we just wanted more. Looking back, it’s crazy to think we almost never crossed paths. But sometimes, the right person comes into your life at exactly the right time—What started as a leap of faith turned into an amazing first string of dates, and the rest is history.
