Best sandwhich shop in petoskey. Our favorite is the "Gotta Try This" (Annais likes it cold but Brogan prefers it toasted. The debate is a hot one in our household)

Closest little winery with good views of the rolling hills of Michigan. Very nice owners as well with lots of farm dogs wondering around.

Much smaller downtown than Petoskey, but another quant little northern michigan town. About a 20 min drive from Petoskey around lake Michigan.
A locally owned movie theatre that is right in the heart of downtown. Brings you back in time to how movie theaters used to be. Fun if you have an extra night or two up in Michigan.
Great cheese selection and also sandwiches for lunch. Check their menu as the sandwiches change daily.
A must if you go over to Harbor Springs. Tiny little house with bright colors serves delicious fresh baked cookies. There will likely be a line but it is worth it.
A little drive from petoskey, but fun activities for the whole family. They also serve wine and beer they make themselves as well as farm fresh food.
