Our favorite must-do experience was a kayak excursion to the famous Cabo arch. Our guide, Hassen, was incredible and made the experience unforgettable. We swam out to Lover's beach from our kayaks, snorkeled and cliff-jumped at Pelican's rock (R.I.P. Apple watch), and came face-to-face with sea lions. We could not recommend it more. The arch can also be visited by water taxi for about $15 usd per person from the Medano beach or the Marina of Cabo San Lucas.
We booked all of our experiences through Airbnb on our trip and this tequila tasting was our first off-resort activity, the day after we got engaged. We drank more than our money's worth and learned all about tequila making.
From November to May, the street is closed every Thursday evening for local art displays and entertainment. Make sure you stop by Calle Alvaro Obregon in San Jose del Cabo where most of the Galleries are located. One of the most popular is the Ivan Guaderrama Gallery with its interactive art.
We learned that off-roading is Zoë's least favorite activity but maybe you feel differently. Brody personally loved it and thought it was an impressive operation. Closer options may exist, however, and we recommend exploring Airbnb experiences.
