Bride
Sarah grew up in West Des Moines, Iowa—but don’t let that fool you. She’s the definition of “wasn’t born in Texas, but got here as fast as she could.” She made her way south to attend Baylor University in Waco (Sic ’Em!) where she earned her degree in Communication. After college, she chased a dream all the way to Austin to pursue acting. For nine years, she served tables, slayed auditions, and collected friendships that would last a lifetime—starting with Stephanie, Rachael, and Alexis at good ol’ Olive Garden (yes, where "when you’re here, you’re family" really stuck). In 2020, Sarah officially signed with an agent and booked several paid gigs—so yes, technically a professional actress! But in 2021, she felt called to a new path and became a care manager at 123 Home Care. Through a coworker, she met her future roommate and lifelong friend Alex, with whom she shared her final Austin chapter. In 2023, Sarah made the move to Fort Worth, bought a house, and started working remotely for Legacy Homecare LA. Then, on February 18, 2024, everything changed. Enter: one red-headed charmer named Randy. They matched on Facebook Dating (random? Maybe. Meant to be? Absolutely), and their first date—fittingly—was at the shooting range. He tried to hustle her. It mostly didn’t work. And now, here we are—planning forever. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all our favorite people!
Groom
Born and raised in Irving, Texas, Randy earned his Associate's Degree in Applied Sciences from Brookhaven College (go Bobcats… we think?). Shortly after, he started working at Sam Pack’s Five Star Ford in Carrollton, where he became a Master Technician. And yes—he’s still there, 19 years later. Talk about commitment! On a gorgeous February day in 2025 (don’t ask him the exact date—dates aren’t really his thing), while casually swiping through Facebook Dating, he came across a stunning blonde holding a revolver. It was love at first bang. Their first date was at the shooting range… and the rest is Texas-style history. We’re so excited to share our love and commitment with the people who mean the most to us. Disclaimer: Yes, Sarah absolutely influenced this heartfelt bio. #Noregrets
Maid of Honor
Hi! I'm Alexandra Gatlin. I lived with Sarah in Austin on Horsey street along with Rachael and we should have had cameras up in the rooms, from Sarah learning to say crazy things in Spanish to getting boots on ;) eve the CRAZY text messages and there was always food and drinks for all of our shenanigans. Sarah and Roman are the reason I have my big baby and Roman's little brother, Dallas!
Matron of Honor
Hi! I'm Stephanie Krugh, and I will be your Matron of Honor for the festivities. Sarah and I met through my husband Kyle, when we first moved to Austin 10 years ago. She started as his "work wife" but quickly became one of my favorite people. Over the last decade, we have shared countless tears, laughs, and glasses of wine - sticking by each other as we tried to "troubleshoot life" through our fumbling early twenties and into the well-won victories and milestones of our thirties. I am forever late, rarely respond to text messages and am even providing this bio a month late. I'm not sure how Sarah hasn't killed me yet... but I'm definitely happy to be here! I generally spend my weekends tending to my houseplants, rereading the same dozen books, and making bread. I'm always good for a useless "fun fact" and a bit of sarcasm. As someone who loves Sarah, it has been a privilege and joy to see her fall in love with a wonderful man, Randy, and who makes her smile like she's thinking of home. Being part of Sarah and Randy's journey to "I do" is a gift I'll always cherish. Now, let's party!
Bridesmaid
Hi! I'm Christen Everett (formerly Christen Brodbeck) Sarah's little sister. We survived countless 20+ hour road trips to Michigan and Pennsylvania, black belt testing, and even Dad forgetting to pay the phone bill in 2008. I'm blessed to be married to Chase Everett. When I'm not cooking, reading or walking the dogs in Iowa, I'm jetting off to a new state or country. I'm honored to stand by Sarah's side as a bridesmaid and celebrate this special day. Wishing you both a lifetime of laughter, adventures, and endless love!!
Bridesmaid
Hi! I'm Rachael. I've known Sarah as long as I've known Texas. She was my first roomie, first friend, and first auntie to my two sons since moving here from Arkansas. As she has shared so many roles in my life, I'm so blessed to share the place of bridesmaid in hers. As for me, I'm a xeno/linguaphile currently working on learning to speak the same language as my two teen boys. I have 3 dogs myself, one pittie and 2 chihuahuas - one of which is a backleg paraplegic named Lt. Dan. The Pit Bull is the kindest out of the bunch of teens and Chihuahuas.
Bridesmaid
Hi! I'm Alexis. I've known Blondie since 2016 when I moved to Austin. We've had so much fun over the years from birthday kidnappings to quarantine in Louisiana. I'm so incredibly happy for you <3 P.S. we match energy over here so y'all pick what kind of wedding day we're gonna have!
Best Man
I'm Steven, Randy's younger brother. A little about me - I have 2 little fur babies, a goldendoodle named Sophie and a cat named BB. I enjoy the occasional round of disc golf when I get the chance. I'm honored to be part of y'alls big day. Sarah, do your best to keep him out of trouble! In all seriousness, these 2 were made for each other and I look forward to seeing them grow together
Groomsman
Howdy! I'm Ronald Green. I've known Randy Caster and the rest of his family now for about 20 years. His daddy and I both drove trucks and I got to listen to his dad talk about his 2 boys. I'm married to my wife Peggy and since Andy died, Randy has been coming out to my place and we've gone hunting. We've gone to Colorado to hunt and ride horses. He's drove my tractor, he took my firearm and has had a whole lot of fun. He's a Ford mechanic and if he can't fix it right, he ain't gonna fix it, and don't ask him to tell a lie because he can't do that either. He's helped me out in many ways. He helps a lot of his family and friend too. I'm very proud to know him!
Groomsman
“Bio? I thought you said eulogy… and honestly, that sounded less painful.” This is Jonathan, aka Rosa aka Randy’s unofficial life partner and full-time work spouse. They met in school and have been wrenching side by side at Sam Pack’s 5 Star Ford for nearly 19 years — because nothing says commitment like shared grease stains and mutual trauma. When asked (politely) for a bio, this man—who somehow finds time to rebuild transmissions and roast Randy daily—responded with: “I don’t have time and I don’t care. Write it for me.” So here we are, writing what is essentially a digital headstone for his dignity. Fluent in Spanish and sarcasm, he initially told his wife he had to write a eulogy for the wedding, and to be fair, that’s probably how dramatic this felt to him. Upon meeting the bride via FaceTime, his first words were, “OH MAN! She does exist,” — proving once again that he absolutely should never be allowed near a microphone. Is he honored to be a groomsman? Debatable. Will he show up looking fly, acting salty, and giving Randy crap all day? Without question. Just don’t ask him to write anything ever again — clearly, that’s not in his skillset.
Groomsman
I'm Kyle Krugh, one of Sarah's best friends and husband to the matron of honor. Sarah was one of my first friends when I moved to Austin in 2015. She started as my favorite person to work with at Olive Garden but quickly became found family. I'm a Sous Chef in Austin. When I'm not cooking or spending time with my wife and dogs, I'm fixing, tinkering and dilly-dallying. It's probably one of the reasons Randy and I get along so well. I can always be count on for a pun or dad joke (especially if it makes Sarah's eyes roll!) I'm so honored to be apart of her and Randy's day. Here's to friendship, family, and a lifetime of happiness for the happy couple
The Best Dog
Hi! My name is Roman. I love my hoomans very much. I came to live with my mom in 2020 after her friend, Teddy, before me passed suddenly. I was born on a ranch with Momma Connie and Poppa Tim there. I lived with my mom in Austin before moving to the cowtown. Did you know that they REALLY do have cows go down the middle of the street? REALLY!!! I've seen it with my own eyes. Anyway, now that we live much closer, I get to go to the ranch almost EVERY WEEKEND. It's one of my favorite activities. I love to roam the ranch, as they say. I remember when Mr. Randy first came over. He brought my mom flowers and gave me good scratches. I'm usually pretty reserved with strangers in my home when mom is alone, especially men. However, I felt right at home with Mr. Randy. I knew my mom was well taken care of when she was with him. I live with my mom, sister Belle, and Stella the kitty. I can speak for us all when I say, we have never seen mom as happy as she is with Mr. Randy, or should I say Daddy!?!
Roman's personal attendants
We’re Tim and Connie West, and we’ve spent the last 30 years building a life together on our ranch in far North Texas. It's the kind of place where horses roam, dogs nap in the shade, and good friendships grow over time. One of those friendships started in 2020, when Sarah came out to meet us—and interview us, actually—about getting a puppy. That’s how Roman entered her life, and how she entered ours. Since then, Sarah’s been a regular here. She rides the horses like she’s part of the herd, drops in to visit Roman’s extended family, and brings her easy warmth every time. More recently, she added Belle to her pack—another dog from our ranch, and another reason we love seeing her pull up the drive. Watching her with Belle and Roman has been a joy, and it’s just one more example of how she fits right into ranch life. Then there’s Randy. From his first visit to the ranch, it was clear he’s solid—thoughtful, kind, and quick to lend a hand or share a good story. He didn’t just get along; he settled right in, and we couldn’t imagine this place—or Sarah—without him. We’re proud to know them both, and honored to be a part of their story as they start this new chapter. Not every friendship begins with a puppy—but we’re sure glad this one did.
