Fresno Yosemite International Airport

Fresno (FAT) is the closest major airport to Yosemite (~ 1hr 40min drive) The next closest options: - Oakland (OAK): ~ 2hr 40min drive - Sacramento (SAC): ~ 3hr drive - San Francisco (SFO): ~ 3hr 30min drive Please be aware of traffic delays out of SFO and OAK. All of these airports will have rental cars available.

YARTS YOSEMITE AREA TRANSPORTATION

YARTS (Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System) is public transit in the Yosemite region, with buses entering Yosemite Valley from Merced, Mammoth Lakes, Sonora, and Fresno—as well as many different towns along the way. YART provides rides from the FAT (Fresno airport) into the park and has a stop at the Yosemite Bug. This is a great option for those who are not interested in renting a car.

There is a variety of lodging options available inside Yosemite National Park. Please note Yosemite National Park is 1 hour away from the Yosemite Bug. There is also a $35 entrance fee per car into the National Park and is good for 7 days.
