What kind of room should I book at the Yosemite Bug?

*PLEASE CALL TO BOOK A ROOM IN OUR BLOCK* There are several types of rooms available - a brief explanation of them is below: Superior Rooms - Large private rooms with several beds and private bath. Each one has a unique decorating theme! Standard Rooms - There are a few smaller standard rooms available. Many have a full bed, bunk bed and private bath. However, the beds do vary so please check while booking. Dorm Rooms - There are a few rooms that offer dorm-style bunks and shared bath for minimalists, those with large families and those who want a cheap bed. Tent Cabins - These canvas-walled units are something between a tent and a cabin. Most have multiple beds so they are very affordable. These have shared bathrooms. (David and Liz have both lived in Tent Cabins while in Yosemite!) We recommend sharing a room with friends when possible, because most rooms have multiple beds. If you'd like help finding people to share rooms with let us know!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

It will be a very busy season for events around Yosemite. This means that the block of rooms at the Bug expires on March 10th. Please book your room with the Bug as soon as possible. RSVP no later than March 10th. If anything changes later than that, please let us know ASAP!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Garden Attire, but be aware that this is a "rustic" mountain venue and you will likely be walking on uneven dirt paths, climbing trees, dancing on stumps and so on.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
