1. Brock & Rebecca met at The University of Scranton, in Scranton, PA, where Brock is from and where they both went to college. 2. They met through Rebecca's roommates who ran Cross Country with Brock. 3. Brock doesn't remember the first time he and Rebecca met. 4. When Brock & Rebecca met, Rebecca hated beer. Brock got Rebecca to go on a date with him by insisting he could find a beer she liked (he did). 5. Brock and Rebecca's first date was at The Backyard Alehouse in Scranton, which both still consider to be one of the best bars in the country. 6. During their first date, Brock got immediately pulled into a conversation with an older man sitting alone at the bar (this should have given Rebecca a clue to what the rest of their relationship would be like). 7. Brock "officially" asked Rebecca to be his girlfriend on March 31, 2012. Brock's parents' wedding anniversary is the next day, April 1st! 8. The first meal Brock cooked Rebecca was garlic, with a side of pasta and broccoli. 9. The first meal Rebecca cooked for Brock was her mom's homemade red sauce and meatballs. 10. Brock and Rebecca both graduated with degrees in Political Science. Both are fond of collecting books about politics and never reading them. 11. The two had a long-distance relationship for 10 months while Rebecca was teaching English in Spain. 12. Brock visited Rebecca once while she was in Madrid and it was the first time he ever left the country. 13. Since then, Brock and Rebecca have been to 3 countries outside of the U.S. together and hope to visit many more! 14. Brock and Rebecca moved to Boston in January of 2015. 2015 was the snowiest winter on record in the city. 15. After successfully teaching Rebecca to love beer, Brock & Rebecca are on a mission to visit every brewery in MA, and they are getting pretty close!
