Our story began in a place where God had His own plans: when Britton and Ingrid's host brother Emilio played soccer on the same team. We met for the first time during one of their games. There was an instant connection, a magnetic pull that drew us closer. We exchanged smiles, and in that moment, we knew that something special had begun.

We enjoyed get to know each other as time slowly went by. Love was in the air! We got to experience so many things together; it was like we were in a movie! Our journey was not without its challenges, but it was during those times that our love proved resilient. Ingrid had to go back to Italy after her exchange year in Oregon, so we decided to not give up so easily and start a long distance relationship. It was surely tough at first, but with time we learned that it was important for us to grow as individuals as well as a couple. We learned the strength of our partnership, supporting each other through thick and thin, and finding solace in the love that continued to grow. Britton visited Italy both in March and July where we had a wonderful time together. Our love kept growing and growing every day!
