Most employees do. However there is a language barrier at times. Some may only know a few words of English- The servers, bar and resort lobby staff do know English. If you feel uncomfortable or need a hand do not hesitate to track me down I will help!!
There is, however at the cost of whom ever your cellular carrier is. They do have WiFi there at the resort, however not WiFi calling- be sure to turn on international calling prior to your arrival to the DR with your cellular carrier if you wish or need to receive and make calls to the US. We will communicate the best of our abilities if there are any changes to an event location the night before.
NO! your taxi driver handles all of that! If you are just reading this and have not gotten to our travel page yet- Cap Cana is a gated community. It is not just for safety. It is also for exclusive nature for the people whom own homes and condos there.
THE BEACH IS SO SAFE!! We recommend a good walk- the next resort up is Haytt, and the swimming gets better up that way with soft sand and less rock. The sign placement and warning is that the staff and security can not guarantee your safety while swimming outside of those lines.
I am fine with sandals. We ask no flip fops, slides or sneakers.
I would rather see bare feet in the sand than sneakers! Be comfortable but snazzy!
We will be there Thursday April 25th in the afternoon. We casually invite anyone who will be at the resort to meet us at the Compass Bar around 630pm for a cocktail. If you would like to dine with us Thursday night please let me know a week prior so I may get seating reservations for all of us.
