Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as you can but absolutely by Sept 15

Question

What if I can’t make it? Why TN?

Answer

We know a destination wedding is not easy. We tried our best to consider the location of all our friends and loved ones. We have people spanning from Hawaii, Colorado, Michigan, Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and down into Florida. We love Tennessee and found this to be a “middle point” for many peoples travel. We one hundred percent understand if the travel is too much and know you will celebrate with us in spirit.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony seating will occur between 3-3:45 with the formal ceremony beginning at 4:00 pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi formal & festive! Have your dancing shoes ready. We want everyone to feel comfortable in what they wear.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please check your E-invitation to identify those invited within your family or options for a guest. We would love to have everyone join but have venue capacity restrictions.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to limited numbers, we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if named. Your E-vite will include your children if they are invited or Mr. And Mrs. if only you and your significant other are invited.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see the accommodations page for lodging options.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will be having a taco and nacho bar with a range of veggies, chicken, and toppings. This allows plenty of options across restrictions and dietary lifestyles. If you have any specific needs, please feel free to bring whatever you need. There is a kitchen on site.

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

We will be serving wine and beer ONLY per park regulations. You are welcome to bring your own beer or wine if you have preferences. While we want to celebrate and intend to party ourselves, we ask that all guests be respectful of the event, the park and it’s wildlife. Unruly guests will be asked to leave.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking lot by the Amphitheater next to the state Park restaurant and some additional parking to the side by the lodges and cabins. The recreation lodge also has a parking lot and is just across the park. You may choose to walk or drive across locations during the cocktail hour.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is not transportation to and from hotels and the venue. All hotels are under ten miles from the venue. The park also has some available cabins and lodges available for 2-day minimum rentals. We ask that all drinking parties ensure that they have safety plans in place to get home safe following the event if not staying on the park. Crossville is a small town and does not run services like Uber or lift.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Members of the wedding party and immediate family will be informed of any additional events or activities in place for the wedding weekend. A wedding rehearsal will be held the Friday before the wedding.

Question

Is the state park pet friendly?

Answer

Absolutely! If pets do accompany you, the park has several trails and activities for your fur baby and you! Please make sure you book lodging that accommodates your fur babies. Many hotels do not allow you to leave an unattended pet however the park has some pet friendly cabins.
