Question

Will the ceremony & reception be indoors?

Answer

The venue will be utilized as an indoor/outdoor venue! The doors spanning the backside of the venue will be open to allow guests to mingle both inside and outside. Heaters will be turned on to keep people warm! Additionally the venue will undergo a deep cleaning prior to our event!

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is formal cocktail attire! Ladies should wear formal cocktail or floor-length dresses, and men should wear a suit & tie, or a sports coat, and of course everyone needs to wear their dancing shoes!!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we want everyone to be able to kick back, relax, and enjoy the evening. The bride & groom kindly request that guests be 12 years of age or older.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We ask that guests arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to ensure a prompt 4pm start! Additionally preceremony drinks and snacks will be available prior to ceremony start!

How do I get to the venue? Where should I park?

Answer

For our out of town guests we will have a bus to shuttle guests from Charlottesville to Castle Hill Cidery & back! If you choose to drive to the wedding parking is free! If you have one too many cocktails, you are able to leave your vehicle overnight and pick it up the following morning!

Can I take pictures of the wedding & post them on social media?

Answer

We ask that the ceremony is an 'unplugged event,' meaning that we would like our guests to keep their cell phones put away and that no pictures be taken during the ceremony. That's why we have a professional photographer!! But once we say our "I Do's" it's game on! We encourage our guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #HappilyEverHaga & send them to us! This way we can keep track of all of your pictures & look at everyone's pictures the next day!
