Brittney and Dan first met as distant coworkers at a guest ranch in Montana (9 years ago!). Brittney was a housekeeping manager while Dan was bad at his job as an “all-around”. Brittney, being a returner, had her cliques, and Dan was unsurprisingly awkward. It wasn’t until after Dan moved from the ranch to the big city of Bozeman before they got close. Brittney and the remaining ranch friends that worked into the off season visited Bozeman often enough for her and Dan to click (most likely at a dingy MSU bar :). It wasn't until Brittney was leaving to visit home for Thanksgiving before they admitted they were probably more than friends. Dan then borrowed her car for 3 weeks after his died in the street from a -30° storm, forcing ongoing connection. Love influenced them to move to Utah together where they shared their first home (with friends of course). They went on to settle in Oregon, buy a townhome, and adopt two adorable cats!
