The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.
Under schedule on website.
Both our Ceremony and Reception are being held at the same venue!
Last year was a bit chilly the week of our wedding date, I would expect temperatures in the 60’s-70’s this year, I can update you all the closer we get though :)
The Ceremony will be held outdoors, and the Reception will be indoor/outdoor.
You will be greatly missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
RSVP deadline is April 17, 2021. We have made it easier with our RSVP option here on our website! We will send RSVP cards along with our formal invitation as well, feel free to choose what is most convenient for you!
We recommend that you arrive a half hour to 45 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time, can get situated, and so we can get the party started as scheduled!
Parking is free, and our venue has done an amazing job with the set up they have you you all! They will be directing you as you pull in.
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event with specific older children invited, so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. There will however be a few younger children, who are in my bridal party attending. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you for your understanding!
We do! You can find that information under “Travel” on our website. There are 10 rooms at each hotel reserved for now. Both hotels are located right next to each other. Just call and ask for a room under “Brittany Schaeffer”.
Yes and no, while we want to encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, we have a couple requests. Our ceremony is unplugged, meaning no other person should be videoing or taking pictures besides our professional photographer to ensure the best out come of memories. Our only other request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #HappilyForeverAForster so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
Per our venue, smoking is prohibited inside the barn and within 50 feet of all building entrances and exits. Also we ask you dispose off all cigarette butts accordingly in a designated bin, NOT TRASH CANS. Thank you :)
