Maid of Honor
Caroline and Brittany have been best friends since middle school when Brittany enticed her with a teddy bear dance (an embarrassing story for the bride). Also attending the same high school, Brittany and Caroline have done way too many things together for either of them to count, including spy camp, speed skating lessons, track, and Hoboken frat parties, as Brittany was fortunate enough to attend graduate school at the same location as Caroline’s brother for undergraduate.
Best Man
Gibbs and Tim have been best friends for as long as the two can remember. Growing up together in Baltimore, they shared all the classic boyhood experiences: birthday parties, baseball games, family trips to the beach, and backyard campouts with 30 yards of extension cords so they could watch Monty Python movies. Tim and Gibbs have always leaned on each other through ups and downs and probably know way too much about each other at this point.
Maid of Honor
Callie and Brittany met in first grade and have been best friends ever since. In middle school, they starred in the show “WeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeHonk” together, written and filmed by Callie and Brittany in their living rooms. From being each other’s homecoming dates to their attempt to model for Gap, to Bucknell visits, and Old Ellicott City dates, Brittany and Callie continue to be close despite one living in Illinois and the other in Colorado.
Groomsman
Mark T. is Tim's older brother and doesn't hesitate to remind him who came into this world first. Mark, or Lieutenant Commander Brandau as he's known on his base in San Diego, is a surface warfare officer in the United States Navy and has way too much control over things that blow up for Tim's comfort.
Bridesmaid
Brittany calls Tracy her “big sister” as Brittany has known her ever since she was born. As the big sis, Tracy has put up with Brittany tagging along on many of her dates growing up, and has taught her many important life lessons, such as don’t leave your retainer behind after your big sister’s date. Thanks to Tracy, Brittany has the best nieces and nephew in the world, and is very lucky to be godchild to her daughter.
Groomsman
Chris is one of Tim's younger brothers, thirteen minutes senior to his twin, Matt. Growing up, Chris was the most care-free, and probably sanest, of the Brandau boys. In a family of lacrosse players, Chris drew the short straw and ended up in the goal taking countless shots from his brothers. It worked out OK though, as he is entering his sophomore season for the University of Maryland's Men's Lacrosse team.
Bridesmaid
Liz and Brittany met at Bucknell University and then were lucky enough to both live near each other in the tri-state area, where Liz introduced Brittany to wonderful things such as the town of Princeton and avocado toast. She was also a big support system for Brittany's NYC Rock the Registry events. Together, they have shared in too many to count NYC brunches, dinners, vineyard visits, and road trips, even if one of these trips increased by three hours due to a wrong turn from the bride.
Groomsman
The younger of Tim's twin little brothers, Matt is the only Brandau that has a fair claim to being more competitive than Tim. Backyard whiffle ball games could get ugly when Matt and Tim found themselves on opposing teams, as both hate to lose more than they like to win. Matt is heading into his sophomore year at Yale, where he plays on the Men's Lacrosse Team.
Bridesmaid
Sara and Brittany met in high school where they gave academy-award worthy performances as exorcist girls in the school’s Gym Meet. Big fans of the club scenes that Ocean City and London have to offer, Brittany and Sara have spent many weekends at the beach together and were also fortunate to have studied abroad in London at the same time. More recently, they prefer San Francisco ferries and Napa speed-wine tastings.
Groomsman
Scott and Tim were college teammates at Bucknell and became inseparable their junior year when they moved off campus together. They share countless memories from those years in Lewisburg, PA, both on and off the field, and although life has put some serious mileage between them they make it a point to see each other as often as they can. Despite earning his Ph.D. after undergrad, the Bucknell boys have pledged to never call him Dr. Monfort.
Bridesmaid
Carmela and Brittany met in high school and have been close ever since, with visits to Bucknell, San Francisco, and every terrace bar that Chicago has to offer. They share a love for any place that serves mac and cheese or ridiculous desserts, and you can typically find them posing together in front of various Instagram-worthy walls that they definitely do not spend time staking out beforehand.
Groomsman
Chris and Tim were college teammates on the men's lacrosse team at Bucknell, and continue to make it a point to cross paths often whether it be in San Francisco, New York, Chicago, or Perdido Key (aka the "Redneck Riviera"). They have played their share of hooky together to hit the golf course and although Chris may have a lower handicap, Tim is quick to point out who scored more goals in college.
Bridesmaid
Grace and Brittany met in high school where they (along with their great team) conquered their volleyball division league together as middle and outside hitter, respectively. Thanks to her time at NYU, Grace introduced Brittany to NYC and Hoboken after college, where they shared many Hoboken St. Patty’s Days, SantaCons, and orange crushes at the Wharf for Ravens games together. They also enjoy the occasional hot wings and floating bikes.
Groomsman
Austin and Tim were teammates and freshman year roommates at Bucknell, and hit it off the second they both stepped on campus. Their chemistry on the field was only rivaled by their affinity for the same "extracurricular" activities off the field (mainly parties, video games, and 80's NBA highlights). Austin and Tim always make it a point to grab a beer and talk lacrosse when Tim finds his way to New York.
Bridesmaid
As fellow JDMBAs at Northwestern, Courtney and Brittany met on day 1 of the program. Together, they survived the “fun” that is law school, where they also heroically saved a bird despite interrupting a class. They have experienced Chicago, Evanston, Munich, Toronto, and many party buses together, and Brittany is thankful for Courtney’s cooking skills and for introducing her to the T.Dot (Toronto), eh?
