While we love kids, our wedding is a 21+ event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home for the welcome drinks, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception so that you can celebrate with us. Our wedding is RSVP only and we will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you!
Yes! There is a private (key access only) room with a couch and attached small bathroom available at the Peabody Library for those who may need to pump. Please ask an attendant and they will direct you.
For those driving to the big day, we are working with PMI to obtain passes to two parking lots, one in Mt. Vernon and one in Harbor East. To request one of these passes, please use the link in the "Travel" section of this website by October 3rd. Passes will be mailed to you prior to the wedding day. Alternatively, there is street parking in Mt. Vernon (where the ceremony and reception will be held), or if you would prefer to park in the 24/7 garage next to the hotel and after party, please feel free to take the buses that will be provided to and from the Marriott Waterfront.
Yes! Bus transportation will be provided from the Marriott Waterfront to Emmanuel Episcopal Church, leaving the hotel at 2:55pm. Buses will also be provided after the reception to the after party and hotel, leaving the George Peabody Library at 10pm.
The hotel (Marriott Waterfront), welcome drinks (Ampersea), and after party (James Joyce) are all located in Harbor East on the water. Ampersea is about a half mile walk from the hotel (or a quick Uber or scooter ride), and James Joyce is across the street from the hotel. The ceremony (Emmanuel Episcopal Church) and reception (George Peabody Library) are in Mt. Vernon, which is a neighborhood about two miles NW of the hotel. The George Peabody Library is about a five minute walk from Emmanuel Episcopal (there will be transportation available for those who would prefer not to walk).
