Located in the Mayan Jungle, Tulum is a magical place and has a special place in Brittany's heart. The ruins at Tulum are an absolute must see. Tulum has a beautiful beach, with white sands and beautiful blue water. There are a lot of boutiques to go shopping, also suggest stopping at Matcha Mama for an Acai bowl. If you are looking for a party, Taboo, Rosa Negra, and Papaya Playa Project are a must.
There are nearly 7,000 cenotes in Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula (where the Riviera Maya region sits). They are beautiful underwater caves and caverns. These secret underground caverns are formed when limestone caves in, leaving a hole in the earth that leads to a pool of gorgeous turquoise water. Cenotes are great afternoon swimming holes or cave-diving destinations. There are many cenotes close to the resort to choose from to visit!
This island makes a great day trip, Isla Mujeres combines a chill atmosphere with lots to do. There is snorkeling and diving at nearby coral reefs, fun shops in town, beach clubs with adventure activities, and gorgeous seascapes in all directions (allot for 1.5 hours travel each way).
PGA Riviera Maya is an impressive landscaping work in which the renowned Robert Trent Jones II has managed to create a spectacular synergy by integrating the golf course into the Mayan jungle, complete with natural lakes and cenotes. This golf resort, which includes another course featuring 9 par-3 holes, was recently acknowledged by Golf Digest magazine to be among the best resorts in Mexico and the Americas.
