How do I reserve our room?

Answer

Please book your hotel room through our Destify link at brittanyandteddy.destify.com where we have preferred rates for our reserved room block by June 1st, 2024 at the latest. We have to release any unbooked rooms from our room block after this date back to the hotel, and if you don't book in our room block you will be subject to availability at the hotel and any surge pricing. So please don't wait until the last minute :) Per Hotel Policy- for guests that book outside of our Travel Agency (Destify), we will be charged $25 per person per event.

Suggested items to bring with you

Sunscreen, Tylenol/Ibuprofen/Pepto (they have stores on-site you can purchase from but are $$$), travel speaker for your room, yeti/insulated cups for cold water or pool drinks, floaties for the pool (if you want, a lot of people had these), clothes steamer. The resort can be chilly inside as they have the AC blasting so suggested to bring a shawl/denim jacket for dinners. Deck of Cards/Small Games (good for late night lobby bar/pool activities). Iron, hair dryer, safe, robes and slippers are provided in each room. Bring singles, $1-2 tips can go a long way in getting faster service at the bar or the pool :) Also, the servers at the restaurant work really hard and it is nice to leave a small tip after your meal that is very appreciated. Tips are not required but are nice. There is an ATM onsite that gives pesos as well.

What is the dress code?

The resort dress code is dressy beach casual. Preferred dinner attire: Gentlemen - Button up, collared shirt or polo with nice sandals, casual shoes, or loafers. Women - flowy dresses, jumpsuits, pants/nice top, sandals, heels Our wedding events have specific dress codes: Welcome Party- White Attire (White Shirts & Khaki/White Pants/Shorts for Men & White dresses/tops/shorts/skirts/jumpsuits for Women) Ceremony & Reception- Formal (Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Please no beach or casual attire!)

What about a passport?

Answer

You will need a valid passport and Mexico will not allow travel if your passport is set to expire within 6 months of your travel date. Current passport processing time for new passports is 4+ months, with renewals taking up to 3 months to process. Please apply or renew your passport ASAP- do not wait!

What if I want to do an activity off-site of the hotel?

Answer

You are free to do any activities off-site of the hotel! This is YOUR vacation too and we want you to enjoy your time. Riviera Maya is one of the most beautiful locations with many different activities available for everyone! Cenotes, Chichen Itza/Mayan Ruins, Tulum day trip, golfing, catamaran, snorkeling, etc you name it and it's available!

No, we are having an adults-only wedding and the resort is Adults only.
