No one really likes to admit they resorted to a dating app or even think they could meet their whole future on one, but I think I speak for the both of us when I say we are grateful beyond words for Hinge. Long story short, I liked Mason's answer from the question prompts on his profile to how he spent his typical Sunday. For those of you who don't know Mason, his answer was golf. Little did I know, he actually does spend every Sunday he has off on the golf course taking the game seriously with the guys. Don't worry though, with Mason's shift work schedule he has plenty of other days to go golfing and I get to tag along. It only took a few days after liking his golf answer on hinge that we had our first date at El Tiempo Cantina in Sugarland on a Tuesday night, January 18th, 2022. From closing down the pub on our first date to Christmas Day of 2022 when we got engaged, I really could write out a detailed timeline and tell you all about how much each date, memory & our moments together have been just as sweet and special throughout our love story. When Mason wrote on the inside of a Christmas card and asked me to marry him, just like I had asked him to be my boyfriend on the back of a receipt, February 15th, 2022, I think it's very clear our first date went better than either of us ever expected.
