When and where is the wedding?

Our wedding is at Sunrise Point at Cedar Creek Lake in Malakoff, TX. The ceremony beings at 6:45pm.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 6:45, so we recommend arriving at least an hour early to allow time for parking and shuttle service. Gates will open at 5:15 and shuttle will begin then and run for 2 hours. Don't worry - we will have a treat for you while waiting on ceremony to begin!

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding will be elegant boho by the lake with a blush pink & navy blue theme. We recommend boho chic or elegant garden attire—flowy dresses, soft tones, lightweight suits, or nice jeans with a nice top. Since we’re by the lake, please wear comfortable shoes!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Our wedding is an adult-only celebration, and we kindly ask that children do not attend unless they are immediate family of the bride or groom. If children do attend, they must leave after the ceremony due to safety concerns.

Will food and drinks be provided?

Answer

Yes! We will be serving dinner and alcohol, so come ready to enjoy!

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

We are not creating a traditional registry! Instead, if you’d like to do something special for us, we would truly appreciate contributions toward our honeymoon fund. If you wish to do so, you can bring a card with a gift or gift card and place it in our card box at the wedding. Your love and support mean the most to us!

Will the ceremony/reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be outdoors by the lake, so please dress comfortably for the weather!

What happens if it rains?

We have a backup plan in place, and we will notify guests in advance if there are any changes due to weather.
