Hike Fira to Oia (2 hours, 6 miles), Suitable for all fitness levels. Amazing views. Start at Fira rather than Oia - Rent an ATV from ATV GP Rentals in Thera ($20/Day) - Watch the sunset at no cost: Panoramic View Fira, Punto Panoramico Fira, Castle of Oia (Crowded) - Swim in beaches: Red and Black Beach, Use water tax for 15 euros to hop on/off beaches every 1.5 hours. - Watch Mamma Mia at Volkan Cinema any evening at sunset (outdoors, $20) - Tour of the volcano - Sunset cruise

- # of recommended nights to stay: 3-4 nights. - Check Booking.com, Expedia and Airbnb for accommodations. However I recommend booking directly with hotel site once you locate a room you’d like. - Hotels generally do not open their bookings until after 1 year in advance, however Airbnb has some available now to book. - Bring cash (Euros), many shops give 10% discount for cash - Pools are not going to be heated in most accommodations - Oia is on a hill so be prepared for many steps if visiting Oia. There is public parking, but it is limited.
