I have the distinct honour of knowing Britt the longest of anyone else in the bridal party. Growing up together there was a lot of love with the occasional hard knock or two (sorry again for hitting you in the head with a golf club, thankfully it didn’t seem to cause too much brain damage). We’ve had our share of both adventures and misadventures but through it all i new we would always be on each others team. I’ll always love you Britt and very excited to welcome Jonny to the family. Tenho a honra de conhecer a Britt há mais tempo do que qualquer outra pessoa na festa de casamento. Crescemos juntas, compartilhando muito amor e, ocasionalmente, alguns arranhões (desculpe novamente por ter acertado sua cabeça com um taco de golfe, felizmente não parece ter causado muitos danos cerebrais). Vivemos muitas aventuras e desventuras juntas, mas, apesar de tudo, sempre soubemos que estaríamos sempre do lado uma da outra. I’ve known Britt since 1993 and watching her blossom into the woman she is today has been a bittersweet journey. It can be tough seeing your big sister grow up but that’s what makes life so special. Natasha and Britt met in the summer of 2013 and Britt would be the first to tell you (and all the guests at our wedding) that she hated her brother’s new girlfriend. Many ruined Christmases, milestone birthdays, music festivals, TLC trips, Soli runs, bottle services (and the accompanying private plane offers), and heart-to-hearts later, I am proud to call the brilliant and charismatic, Dr. Britt a sister and a best friend. Only sister Britt could find a partner with as fascinating a history and as big a heart, and I can’t wait to celebrate your love in September! Britt and I met on a (friend) dating app in Chicago back in the summer of 2022. From our very first conversation, it felt like I had known her forever. What started as an instant soul connection turned into one of my most cherished friendships, and into a year of dancing through the nights, sharing our milestones, our messes, and our closets. When she had to leave Chicago, she took a piece of my heart with her, but I knew we would always find our way back to each other. And so it’s an honor to stand by her side as a bridesmaid and celebrate the amazing woman she is; smart, beautiful, strong, creative, curious and determined, with a huge heart in the right place - A true lifesaver in every sense of the word. Britt and I met in the summer of 2015 and instantly clicked—we even took a spontaneous trip to Montauk to celebrate July 4th not long after! She’s always been that friend who’s up for anything, especially a good adventure or a night out in NYC. My 20s wouldn’t have been nearly as fun without her by my side. And here’s the kicker: I met my husband at a Super Bowl party she invited me to—so I pretty much owe her everything! But aside from being a blast, Brittany is hands down one of the most impressive people I know. She’s a brilliant surgeon by day, a devoted cat mom by night, and somehow manages to do it all while looking effortlessly fabulous. And while I’ve traded the New York life for backyard chickens and a growing jungle of plants in Southern California, Britt is still the same ride-or-die friend. Every time we see each other or catch up, we’re able to pick up right where we left off, just like the good old days. Johnny is a proud dog dad, Britt is a cat mom-- and somehow they just fit perfectly together. I’m so happy Britt has found her perfect match. Can't wait to celebrate! Afi and Britt met in 2013 while working for a particularly challenging boss. Britt lasted only a month there (no surprise), but it was long enough to spark a friendship that defined much of our 20s—going out 3 times a week hopping between four clubs while surviving on equal parts adrenaline and questionable decisions. These days, Britt juggles five cats, 2nd or 3rd fellowship (depending on when you are reading this) and a long distance relationship, and somehow still manages to be one of the most brilliant, loyal, and hilarious people I know. It only makes sense that she found a partner who is always down to have a good time. I’m beyond excited to celebrate the two of them as they start this next chapter together. Afi e Britt se conheceram em 2013, embora tenham trabalhado juntos por apenas um mês. Uma amizade que marcou grande parte dos nossos vinte e poucos anos – saíamos três vezes por semana, pulando de uma balada para outra, sobrevivendo à base de adrenalina e decisões questionáveis. Hoje em dia, Britt cuida de cinco gatos, está fazendo sua segunda ou terceira especialização (dependendo de quando você estiver lendo isso) e mantém um relacionamento à distância, e ainda assim consegue ser uma das pessoas mais brilhantes, leais e engraçadas que conheço. Faz todo o sentido que ela tenha encontrado um parceiro que esteja sempre disposto a se divertir. Estou muito feliz em celebrar a união dos dois enquanto eles iniciam este novo capítulo juntos.

Britt and I have been sisters since long before we knew we would be sisters. I've known Britt since I was around 13 years old- she was always this incredibly cool, beautiful, smart girl. In the time that I have known her, which has almost been my whole life, she has been a girls girl, always ready to be a support and was only ever a phone call away. One such time came when my *ahem boyfriend * broke up with me in a brief moment of insanity in college. Britt took me to the movies, saying "Kieran may not love you, but I do." Or something to that effect. It occurs to me just now that I didn't have to get back together with Kieran in order to stay sisters with Britt, and as I contemplate my life choices, I realize how blessed I am to have her. I am so happy that she and Jonathan are embarking on their marriage journey and only wish them the best. Don't worry, Britt: I'll always love you too, husbands be damned. Britt e eu somos irmãs desde muito antes de sabermos que seríamos irmãs. Conheço a Britt desde os meus 13 anos de idade – ela sempre foi essa garota incrivelmente legal, bonita e inteligente. Durante todo o tempo em que a conheço, que é praticamente a minha vida inteira, ela sempre foi uma amiga fiel, sempre pronta para me apoiar e sempre disponível por telefone. Britt and Cosima met on the 10th floor surgical unit (… center pod to be exact) of Stamford Hospital during Britt’s residency. One very colorful conversation led to immediate IG follows, a dinner date, shared uber locations, and an endless amount of giggles - a friendship that is ride or die, the ying to my yang, supportive, and true.. no matter the miles in between.  Having met Jonny was no different. Caring, kind, and loving Britt for unapologetically being herself - but also always letting me tag along as the third wheel! I couldn’t be happier that they found each other and can’t imagine a more perfect person for one of my best friends. Parabéns! Desejo a vocês dois uma vida inteira de amor e felicidade! Britt e Cosima se conheceram durante a residência de Britt. Uma conversa muito animada levou a que se seguissem imediatamente no Instagram, a um jantar, a compartilharem a localização no Uber e a muitas risadas – uma amizade inabalável, o yin e o yang uma da outra, de apoio mútuo e verdadeira, independentemente da distância. Conhecer Jonny não foi diferente. Atencioso, gentil e que ama Britt por ela ser quem é, sem reservas – e que sempre me inclui nos programas, mesmo sendo a terceira pessoa! Não poderia estar mais feliz por eles terem se encontrado e não consigo imaginar uma pessoa mais perfeita para uma das minhas melhores amigas. Parabéns!
