Travel Note
Of note, all Americans need a visa to travel to Brazil. Currently, the visa fee is $80.90 with a 10-year validity. For questions about the e-visa application procedures, visit the Brazilian government-authorized website, www.brazil.vfsevisa.com Please note that it can take up to 2 weeks to process a visa request, so we recommend obtaining a visa now, as it will be good for 10 years.
Flight
1. The most convenient to fly into is Viracopos International Airport (VCP) which is about 20 minutes from Indaiatuba. Flights from Fort Lauderdale on Azul fly directly there. 2. There are many flights to São Paulo/Guarulhos–Governor André Franco Montoro International Airport (GRU). Please note, that while flights to GRU tend to be cheaper, this airport is a 2-2.5 hour bus ride or drive away from the wedding location.
Travel Note
1. From and To VCP. Uber is available in Brazil. Please note that most drivers will accept your ride, then when they arrive to you, will cancel so that they can barter a cash price with you without Uber taking a cut. This is common practice in Brazil, so please do not be surprised if this occurs. 2. There is a bus from Indaiatuba to GRU. It can only be booked with a Brazilian credit card however, so if this is the airport you fly into, please contact Britt or Jonny to help book your seat.
Travel Note
There are many Air BnB available for rental in the area, some may house up to 15 people. We recommend looking into these if you are traveling with a group of friends.
Travel Note
Please check closer to the wedding date for information on the hotel block.
