It all began one evening after Brittany was shooting pool with friends at Trax Bar on Haight Street for $2 Tuesdays. At last call, Jed's roommate invited people to continue the evening at their place in the Outer Sunset for an impromptu house party (unbeknownst to Jed.) He arrived late to an empty house after a long shift at work, ready for a relaxing night at home. Little did he know, his life would change forever that night... As Jed turned off the TV to retire to his room, the front door suddenly burst wide open with the revelry of roommates, friends and tag-alongs. After playing several rounds of pool in the garage, Brittany snuck away to use the restroom (which happened to be adjoined to Jed's bedroom.) As she made her way back to the party, she noticed an acoustic guitar hanging on the bedroom wall and helped herself to it without asking. Enter Jed, catching Brittany red-handed as she gave him a sheepish smile while continuing to sing & strum her favorite Jenny Lewis songs. Without skipping a beat, Jed grabbed a tambourine and began to sing along beside her. And so unfolded a magical evening of singing, laughter & sharing a mutual love for music.
