Brittany swiped right on Priya 9 years ago on what essentially is Chapel Hill's 'incoming first years desperate for roommates' Tinder app. They lived together for six years in the southern slice of Heaven, with two of those years sharing a room (so, you know, they're close). Chances are you probably know more about their love story than Brittany and Jared's. Despite not living together anymore (still sobbing), Brittany says Priya will always be her favorite roommate because she knows what kind of honey mustard to buy (Ken's, always Ken's).
Eric Worden

Eric is Jared's older brother who used to bully Jared as a little lad. Jared’s only self defense was throwing his hot wheel cars at about 100mph at Eric’s ankles. They both turned out alright...we'd say!
Kiah Amaya

Throwback to 2006 when Brittany was called 'Brittany with the Bangs', a short-lived nickname to capture her awkward phase with too long, crooked, flat bangs (that Kiah once straightened and then proceeded to cackle laugh). That's the dawn of their friendship, known affectionately as BFTIAB. Kiah also made Brittany a twice-over godmother to her baby boy and girl. Any friendship that can withstand the terrors of high school deserves its rankings in a wedding. Probably only still friends for the postcards.
Omaye Berhe

Omaye.... or Captain Criticism as Jared likes to call him. If you ever think you have a good idea or a hobby you really enjoy... Omaye will always have something negative to say about it (except this marriage of course)... but we love him anyways. Little known fact about him: According to an old high school teacher, Omaye could have probably been a great football player at Independence High School if he would have just applied himself. Go figure.
Michelle Halaut

Brittany and Michelle went to elementary school together but weren't friends then because Michelle described Brittany as a "teacher's pet" and "suck up" (guilty). Michelle got married in 2017 & Brittany thinks it was the biggest treat to be in her wedding, trying not to cry ALL day long. She can't wait to turn the tables on Michelle now and see how long her mascara holds.
Drew Dunn

Jared didn’t meet Drew until a few years ago. Fresh out of CFD rookie school Jared was assigned to Station 25 with Drew. In a 24 hour shift together it would be a miracle if 30 minutes didn’t go by where they didn’t trash talk each other. Between the two of them, they throw lots of shade....and even better Carolina Panthers tailgate parties.
Hayley McKesson

Known affectionately as the Blondie to her Brownie, Hayley's been on the scene since senior year of high school. Hayley's rehearsal dinner sparked this whole love affair between J & B....so extra gold stars for the McKessons! Six years later, we're turning the tables on them and having both Michael and Hayley in our wedding and couldn't imagine our day without them. Brittany can't wait to recreate High School Senior Prom with Hayley featuring all the same awkward dance moves and posed photos.
Michael McKesson

Jared and Michael have been friends since the 6th grade. They've gone through lots of awkward hair styles together. In addition to being the other half of the McKesson duo that sparked this whole thing at their rehearsal dinner/wedding, he also filmed our engagement in San Francisco. Jared suspects that without Michael, this whole day wouldn’t be happening. Thanks, pal!
Lindsay Worden Hall

Lindsay is Brittany's future sister-in-law and Brittany is pumped about it. They have lots of similarities - sassy, uber competitive, often sings off-key and isn't embarrassed by it, etc. Brittany can't wait to party with her future sister at the wedding (because we know she'll throw down on the dance floor) and love on Lindsay's baby boys forever. She's also Tha Reverend Eric Hall's hot wife, so does that make her Mrs. Reverend now?
Spencer Bridgewater

Look for Spencer to be the one who awkwardly smiles with no teeth in all our wedding pictures. Spencer and Jared have been friends since Freshmen year of high school. Ask Jared to tell you the story of the biggest bass he ever caught...he'll tell you that Spencer was the hero of that story.

AD came on the scene in 2016 when her and Britt met in grad school at UNC. What she may lack in duration of years of friendship she makes up for 1000x in quality conversations, kind acts & words of affirmation, and her fellow love of TJ's greeting cards.

Tyler... twin brother of Spencer. Tyler's also been a bro of Jared's since Freshmen year of high school. We all better hope there’s no Pokemon at the venue because this dude would be playing Pokémon Go during the ceremony.
Rebecca Blitt

Three words: best friend cousins. Where Brittany is risk-averse and clumsy, Becca is adventurous and fearless. They balance (clash) well together. Their best memories include cheering on the NY Giants at a cold December game at MetLife Stadium....and basically every family vacation when they sit back and laugh at their crazy, bizarre, loud family over ice cream.
Branden Yates

Branden sounds like a dog with peanut butter stuck on the roof of his mouth (hah - but we still love you!). Jared's known Branden since middle school. Ask Branden at the wedding how he used to try to get out of going to school as a child. Hint: It has something to do with throwing himself down stairs. Hahah. Also, Branden was Jared's teammate in Halo 2 when they traveled to Orlando for an MLG tournament in the mid-2000s. Jared remembers it as the best time of his life.... except for marrying Brittany, of course.
Eric Hall
Officiant
Officiant aka Tha Reverend. Eric is Jared's brother-in-law. He's fit right in to the family since day one. Some may say (some, but not Brittany, because her and Eric are bros) that Eric missed his calling as a firefighter and all he does now is transport patients to the hospital after Charlotte Fire Department saves the day. He will be the first to tell you that's all paramedics do. Not all heroes wear capes, Eric...they wear fire helmets and turnout gear too. (Can you tell there's a little family competition and wit here?)
