As we're sure you can imagine, we are closely monitoring COVID and how it will impact our wedding plans. We don't know what's ahead but please know that no matter what, your health and safety is our priority. This remains true even though our wedding is in 2022 and we, like you, hope that we will be much further along with stopping the spread. Still, if the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that things change. If the pandemic continues into 2022, our goal is to have a final update on expectations no later than 60 days before our wedding (Jan 5, 2022). This could require asking all guests who attend the wedding to have a negative Covid test the week of the wedding. We don't quite know what the logistics of this look like but will keep you updated. In the meantime, if taking a COVID test is not an option for you, please let us know.
We ask that you submit your RSVP by Jan 29, 2022 so that we can accommodate enough food and drink of all of our guests. If you are having trouble RSVP'ing, please reach out to one of us directly so we can make sure you are accounted for.
We will be having an unplugged ceremony and ask that everyone put away all cell phones and cameras. During the reception, we encourage you to take as many pictures as you'd like. We only ask we only request that you do not use flash and be mindful of our photographer's location during special moments so they are able to get the best shots. We thank you all for understanding!
Semi-formal or cocktail attire. The plan is for the ceremony and cocktail hour to be held outside so please dress appropriately for the weather.
Yes! We worked with The Fairfield Inn & Suites to secure a discount on a limited number of rooms. Please see the "Travel" page with information.
There is parking at the venue, however we ask that all cars are off the property by 10AM the next day. If you are staying at the hotel we reserved, we will provide transportation to and from the venue at designated times. Please note that Ubers/Lyfts are extremely hard to get in Wake Forest. We have had luck with the "reserve" feature on both apps. Please plan accordingly if you plan to use Uber/Lyft as there are no promises that the reserve option will arrive to you at the time you requested.
Yes! Shuttle pick-up to the wedding starts at 4pm and will run until 4:45. Drop-off times begin at 9PM.
We adore little ones however, to give our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we kindly request that no kids under the age of 12. We hope you will understand our decision and this this as an opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate!
We will try to keep this information up-to-date as possible... [AS OF NOV 24} Wake County’s mask mandate remains in effect for the unincorporated areas of the county, Garner, Knightdale, Morrisville, Rolesville and Zebulon. The mandate can be safely lifted when the trending positivity rate of COVID-19 is less than 5% and the seven-day average is less than 50 cases per 100,000 people, marking moderate community transmission per the CDC.
