Downtown San Jose del Cabo is a hidden gem. Wander around the cobblestone streets and you’ll encounter some great restaurants, mezcal bars and art galleries.
This is a low key, fresh seafood restaurant with amazing ceviche and various fresh & cooked fish dishes. Fun fact: in true Boon fashion, he tried to purchase a few jars of their amazing house made sauces. While they weren’t available for purchase, the manager took pity on us and provided a few to-go containers which he ended up bringing back to the states!
Lupitas arguably serves the best tacos in the area with a full mezcaleria and live music some nights. Come here for another low key food option and if you’re feeling wild try a tasting of their best mezcals.
Acre is a hybrid restaurant, event space & farm where you can find everything from peacocks to goats & puppies. Their restaurant is fantastic, focusing on farm-to-table style Baja cuisine.
