Ocean Path

Our favorite hike in Acadia. It's pretty difficult so we recommend it for experienced hikers. However, if you're up for the challenge, it offers some of the best views of the park!

The Beehive

This is an easy - albeit long - hiking trail that offers incredible views of Jordan Pond. Stop by the historic Jordan Pond House for popovers and coffee once you've completed the loop!

Jordan Pond

Iconic spot in Acadia National Park to watch the sunrise or take in views of the park. You must book tickets in advance to drive up Cadillac Summit Road.

Cadillac Mountain

If you're looking for a challenging hike, this is an iconic Acadia trail! Not for the faint of heart.

Precipice Trail

If you're planning on staying a few days, we highly recommend booking a kayaking tour. We booked a stargazing and bioluminescence tour and it was definitely a highlight of our trip!

Castine Kayak Adventures

A relaxing way to spend an afternoon or evening. There are a variety of tours available. We recommend the Bar Harbor Nature Cruise.

Our favorite restaurant on Mount Desert Island! The views are incredible, the food is delicious, and the service is unmatched! Go early - they don't take reservations. It's worth the wait.

Abel's Lobster

This side-of-the-road spot is popular for a reason! Go for the best lobster rolls on the island.

Charlotte's Legendary Lobster Pound

This is where we had breakfast the morning of the proposal. Go for the pancakes!
