and so, the adventure begins

Donald and Brittany met on FaceTime through mutual friends while she was out celebrating her BFF (and wedding planner!) Bryssa's birthday. They planned a double date with said mutual friends where Donald proceeded to stand Brittany up. It wasn't long after that Donald knew he messed up. He called Brittany to sincerely apologize and she decided to give him a second chance. Despite Brittany's reservations about Donald, he took her on their first official date and she realized he had boyfriend material. After this first date Donald knew he had to do whatever it took to convince Brittany to continue to give him a chance. And so, their story began.

While Brittany's parents and sister were visiting California, she decided to have an early Thanksgiving celebration. After the meal, Donald stood and welcomed everyone, thanking them for coming. He then invited everyone to take a turn to say what they were thankful for. However, before starting Donald bid them to head outside to see what he was most thankful for. Brittany was completely and totally surprised to find a petal lined aisle leading to a table set with pictures and the letters spelling, "Marry Me."
