Brittany Nelson was born on October 27th, 1991 and raised in a small town northwest of Seattle in Port Townsend, Washington. She was brought up by her Mother, Christina Nelson and Father, Brett Nelson. Brittany is the oldest with two younger sisters, Cydney and Bradyn Nelson. She is extremely close with her family, which includes her incredible bond with her one and only Nana. She is currently a Social Insights and Reporting Manager at Hewlett Packard Inc., living in Sun Diego with both Cole and Cydney.
Cole Moore was born on January 20th, 1988 in Binghamton, NY. He was brought up in a small town in Vestal, NY by his Mother, Lori Moore and Father, Tom Moore. Cole too, is very close with his family and has one older sister, Morgan, who is married to Joseph Henninge. Morgan and Joe delivered Coles first niece on August 14, 2017 named Elora. Cole is currently a Account Manager for Alliance Environmental Group in San Diego. You can find him anxiously waiting out "winter" months until he gets to finish his days at the beach, directly after work... he has adjusted to San Diego very easily.
Growing up, Cole had always been the traveler of the family, studying in Spain or taking an impromptu trip to Chicago or Miami was nothing out of the ordinary. Working for ACH, he was constantly on the move and upon hearing Bellingham was his new destination, to say Cole was a little hesitant to go, would be an understatement. However, he had no clue that this little town would bring him to the person he would spend the rest of his life with and uncover one of the prettiest destinations in the continental United States. While Cole was busy opening new development projects in student housing throughout the US, Brittany was making the move to Bellingham, Washington herself. She too, even though Washington-bred, did NOT want to leave beautiful Seattle for small town Bellingham. Little did she know, this was the greatest decision she had ever made and I think her parents would agree. While in Bellingham, she hoped to build her resume. Brittany took to finding a job/internship that would give her real life experience, which lead her to an ad on the WWU Career Center website titled: "Marketing and Branding - NXNW Student Housing" She quickly applied to the job sending her resume and cover letter to the hiring manager. Shortly after, she received an email that read: "Dear Ms. Nelson, After reviewing your resume and background I would like to offer you the opportunity to interview for the Marketing and Branding position at NXNW Student Housing in joint with Asset Campus Housing. Please provide me times that you are available to sit down and discuss the position further. Best regards, Cole Moore Lease Up and Marketing Specialist" This interview in late October 2015 was the first time Cole and Brittany met. Some would argue that this Starbucks interview was their "first date".
After months of googly eyes in the office (Cole much more than Brittany)(Ummm, this is Cole and I think it went both ways, actually), Cole asked Brittany on a date to Anthony's Bar and Grill where the relationship to say the least, easily took off. Dating throughout the remainder of the year, they were quickly forced to do long distance for a year as Britt started her career with HP in San Diego. With great success, their love was put to the test! Cole asked Brittany to marry him in Cabo, Mexico while the couple was vacationing. He proposed on April 17th, 2017 on a moonlit beach after a wonderful night of food and drinks. She stressed over and over for the engagement to be just the two of them and not another day to be shared with Jesus... He cut that pretty close with Easter, but he is always keeping her on her toes, so this came as no surprise. Since this date, Cole and Brittany have moved to Oceanside California, a beach town north of San Diego. They have two fur babies, one dog named Rogue and one cat named Asher. They love to travel and create new experiences together. Since being a couple they have made trips to Cabo and Cancun Mexico, Chicago, New York, Austin and College Station Texas, Las Vegas, Vancouver, Denver and Albuquerque. There is no denying their love for travel. However, after doing long distance early on in their relationship, I think it's safe to say these two will travel anywhere, as long as they are together. If these two have taught us anything, it is that love doesn't need time. When you know, you know. You build a foundation together, you work together, you learn together, and most of all you LOVE TOGETHER. #MooretoLove19 and the years beyond. Help us celebrate and appreciate the love these two display for us all to admire.
