Bridesmaid
My chosen sister. This girl can ski like a champion & wrangle 4 children on any adventure she goes on! So grateful to have this gal as my childrens auntie- she is one in a million. Del makes me want to be a more patient mama, a more adventurous human & reminds me that no matter what challenges life throws at you, you just have to keep going. She has achieved so much in the last few years & I admire her insane amount of strength. I don’t think I’d be 1/2 the mom I am without Del’s support, encouragement and advice. You can find Del living it up on the dance floor (even with kids in tow) & most definitely enjoying lots of tacos ( my fellow foodie!)
Bridesmaid
Met in Kindergarten in Powell River BC. Britt & Steen have done a lot together in their 20s including living, working, volunteering & travelling together- as well as completing the same degree at UVic. She is one of Britt's main confidantes. She is an avid runner, hiker & traveller. Justine has been apart of many research projects all over the world & has been published multiple times ( smarty arty!). Justine inspires me to be a better human- she is genuine & treats everyone with so much respect. I love that I can lean on her for any and all chats. She is an awesome auntie to Ry & Jack & we are so grateful to have her a 5 min drive away. Justine can be found getting the party started & keeping it going at the wedding!
Bridesmaid
Friends since first year UVic- lived in residence together. Britt was immediately fan girling over Kaits style & fun, always up for adventure ( or mischief) personality. Kaitlin has poured her heart and soul into years of being an exceptional teacher ( completing her special Ed diploma!) & that has really paid off as she has stepped into motherhood so naturally. I am so grateful our babies get to grow up together. Kaitlin inspires me to be a really good friend & a really good mom because she is SO caring & thoughtful. She has such a zest for life/ travel & has travelled to many places around the world. She always finds something to giggle about & has recently taken up photography as a hobby. Being her friend is full of adventure and I love that. You can find her at the wedding organizing folks to play yard games & forsure on the dance floor ( in the best stylish kicks!).
Bridesmaid
Met while working together on labour & delivery in 2016 ( Melis had just come back from mat leave & Britt was instantly attracted to her calm, kind presence… and her HAIR!) Melis has been at the birth of Jack & Rylie, as an exceptional support person… & that continues outside of the labour room. She is such a supportive friend even while balancing 3 amazing littles of her own. Melis inspires me to be an amazing mama as she is calm in chaos & shows her kids unconditional love. I feel so safe to feel all my feelings with Melis. You will find her grazing the dessert table at the wedding... especially if there is chocolate and peanut butter.... and she will be busting moves on the dance floor!
Bridesmaid
Met working together on labour & delivery in 2017. Karla showed up to a party Britt was hosting & it turns out they lived just a block apart. Over the years they have gone on many runs, hikes & other adventures. Karla is an awesome mama, runner & a "Jill of all trades"-this girl dives, surfs & rides a motorbike. Karla inspires me to “fly by the seat of my pants” and go with the flow. I love her chill , fun vibes! She will most definitely be found on the dance floor at the wedding, encouraging britt to do her signature dance move, " the worm". You may also find her taking a quick cat nap anywhere. She will be the last one standing ( especially since her two sweet littles will be at home asleep!)
Bridesmaid
Met searching for the perfect engagement ring for Britt during night shifts together, Victoria General Hospital, 2018. Julia is a sweetheart & always up for fun adventures. She is a retired varsity swimmer( you should see her butterfly stroke!) & an amazing new mama. She has been such a supportive friend pre kids and post kids! Julia is exceptionally kind- a true salt of the earth human. She cares so deeply for the families she works with as well as everyone in her life. This gal wears her heart on her sleeve & I’m so grateful I can call her about anything. You can find Julia at the wedding captivating everyone with her big smile, friendly persona & living it up!
Groomsman
I met Ryan when we were 15 at the beginning of high school. I had transferred from a different school district and Ryan was among the first to make me feel welcome in a new school. We became great friends playing soccer together for the next 4 years. Currently Ryan’s favourite activities are soccer, hiking with his dog and sending us snap chats of him terrorizing the streets of Vancouver on his bike. Ryan is the ultimate hype man and pace setter for a night of partying so expect him to be one of the last ones standing. Don’t challenge him to a chugging contest, you will lose.

I also met Jean in the soccer academy in high school. There was an instant connection as we are both left footed and lefties stick together. Will never forget jeans birthday in grade 12 at joshes house, that night Molded Jean into the man he is today. Jean is an awesome friend who will bend over backwards to help out his buddies. We have enjoyed many ridiculous fishing trips at cowichan, countless soccer games and have made great memories over the years.

I also met Justin in high school. He came to Reynolds a year later than me after spending most of his grade school years in Dubai. We didn’t know what to think when this guy showed up from Dubai and went bar down in the first soccer session of the year. Justin is currently the only person I have ever met to have had a urinal in their bathroom which made his house a great spot for sleepovers. Justin and I both have 2 kids that are only a few months apart. We love to drink beer and watch the toddlers go crazy on the trampoline. Dad life.

Once again, I met josh at the beginning of high school in soccer. One of the first people to invite me over to his house made it obvious he was a good guy. Josh was the member of the friend group with the “cool” house where we were allowed to drink and get up to no good early on, so naturally, a lot of my fondest memories involve josh (thanks Brent). From epic parties, 711 walks and backyard frisbee, there are countless good times we’ve had together. We have played soccer together our whole adult life, and there is no goalie I’d rather have behind me than josh, even though I’ve been run over a few times by him.
Best Man
Dill and I have been best friends since we were 13. He is my oldest friend. I remember him calling me in the summer of grade 7 asking me if i wanted to go to come to cowichan with him and his family for the week. After a week of dirt biking, knee boarding, video games and jalapeño cheddar chips it was obvious we would be friends forever. We both made the decision to transfer to Reynolds together in grade 10. We were both skeptical at first, but it couldn’t have worked out better and I’m sure we can both agree it was perhaps the best decision we have ever made. After hundreds of dirtbike rides, fishing trips and years spent on the soccer field I couldn’t think of a better guy to be my best man.
