We are finally getting married !

Back in 2011, Britt was attending the University of Victoria & in her party era. One night she was convinced to go to a house party & low & behold Brian was there. They spent the night laughing, having fun & exchanging numbers. Britt, at the age of 21, couldn’t believe she had a crush on this young, handsome dude (18 years to be exact!) Bri showed up at Britt’s house in the weeks shortly after in his green mustang & the rest was history… Just kiddin. For the next year or so they went on dates to Mystic Beach, Canada Day fireworks downtown, Jasmines restaurant, house parties & Mums Cafe in Sooke. Britt was also known to come watch Bri’s lacrosse & soccer games- Brian even attended Britt's UVic graduation party. They both went their separate ways at the end of that year & spent the next 5 years on their own adventures, but always keeping in touch. The running joke over those years was that "Britt owed Bri a legal drink at a pub"...since he wasn't 18 anymore. May 2016- Britt was living in Toronto & gave Bri a call. She’ll never forget “hearing” his smile over the phone. Britt told Bri she would be back on the island in a few weeks.. for good. Britt rushed off that BC Ferry & drove straight to the MItchells house. Safe to say, she fell in love with him right then and there ( what a man, what a man, what a mighty fine man). The next day they hiked Matheson Lake and Brian told her “it was always you”. She finally got to buy him a legal drink! 9 years together, 2 beautiful children, too many adventures to count & the fun has just started ! So grateful you have all been apart of this journey in someway & now we get to celebrate our love together.
