Friends since freshman year of high school, Brittany and Briana had a decade of friendship under their belts before Brittany realized that maybe she wanted something more. The two grew very close towards the end of college, where they maintained a long distance friendship that blossomed through shared music interest, videogames, anime, and Kpop. Soon they began spending all of their free time together nerding out over Dragon Age and BTS. But they were just friends, right? It was during Briana's college graduation party (which Brittany helped plan) where Brittany realized that she caught feelings in the most cliche way possible - specifically during karaoke when Briana got on top of a table and sang a sultry rendition of Katy Perry's "I Kissed A Girl." But with a decade of friendship on the line, she was hesitant to pursue anything at risk of losing one of the most important people in her life. She finally confessed her feelings to Briana after 6 (insufferably long) months, and the two have been inseparable ever since. In 2022 the two of them purchased their first home together, a co-op in Queens, NY. Brittany proposed to Briana in June of that year at a paper lantern festival in Flushing Meadow Corona Park, and Briana surprised Brittany with a proposal of her own at the Bayard Cutting Arboretum shortly afterwards in September. Their newest adventure together is that of dog moms, to their 15lb rescue pup Kiba in May of 2023. Throughout the course of their friendship turned relationship, the two have enjoyed travelling together (California, Hawaii, a Caribbean cruise to name a few), cosplaying as their favorite videogame characters, playing DnD with their friends, going on many a hotpot/KBBQ and karaoke date, and seeing as many concerts as they can.
