FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

March 30, 2019

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please dress casual.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are extremely limited on the number of guests that we can have at our ceremony. Please run the additional date request by either the bride or groom.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Alpine Trail Ridge Inn Misty Mountain Lodge Lazy R Cottages Or ask if we have extra room in our cabins!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking at the ceremony site is EXTREMELY limited. We are limited to 10 parking spaces even though the lot can allow for more. Please carpool as much as possible and arrive early to ensure a parking spot. Parking at the reception will be normal.

Question

Will I have to pay an entrance fee into the park?

Answer

Yes. The park will charge for access into the park. A vehicle pass is all that is needed per vehicle entering the park.

Question

Can I purchase a park pass before arriving in Colorado?

Answer

Yes. You can purchase a single day or seven day vehicle pass online. Passes should be purchased at least a month before arrival. If less than a month away, the park service recommends getting your pass at the park. Active military can get an annual park pass for free. https://www.nps.gov/romo/planyourvisit/fees.htm

Question

Can I take pictures at the ceremony?

Answer

No. The bride and groom would like to enjoy a completely unplugged ceremony. We ask that our guests be fully present during our ceremony and refrain from using cameras and phones. We have hired some of the best photographers to capture the day. We promise we will share our pictures after the big day. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures of the bride and groom as you wish!

Question

Is there a shuttle I can take from the visitor center to the amphitheater

Answer

No. Unfortunately, the shuttle that runs through the park, does not stop at the amphitheater on its route. It is extremely encouraged to carpool and leave early as lines to get into the park may be long.
