LOVE this more contemporary take on tex-mex. Get the El Santo, anything brisket and HAVE to get the queso mesero!!
there are so many mi cocinas in dallas i just listed my favorite :) at christmas (and anytime) it's so magical with the lights. GET THE MAMBO TAXI! It is literally the most famous drink in Dallas-heck it was on the Conan O'Brien show! Sunset enchiladas, Cheese Enchiladas, Old School Tacos and Rico Salad make this place our #1 go to Tex-Mex restaurant.
we literally DREAM about this place and during quarantine had it at least 3 times. order the Honey Bastard-not a spicy fan get the honey badger. either way you will NOT be disappointed.
Grab some wine, a cheese board and listen to some live music out back! Also situated in historic downtown Frisco!
Have time for a drive? A must for Mexican tapas and amazing cocktails and rooftop bar.
One of Britt's favorites from her time in Dallas (basically anything on Lower Greenville is a win
Holy live music, good food (all the fried things) good drinks and plenty of space. Britt LOVES this place and it's easy to see why! Also the first date spot B and I had when he came to Dallas for Easter in 2016 :)
GET THE LOBSTER RAVIOLLI. I know we're in Texas but I've been to Boston and I've been to Maine and wow. this. is one of our go-to italian food places.
Love this place for GREAT beers, cool vibes and good group functions.
MY FAVORITE MALL IN ALL OF AMERICA. I grew up seeing the same Santa since I was 2 and he is STILL THERE. But really every brand and every store I have ever loved is there. Amazing restaurants and the mall is an art exhibit throughout the whole thing. Honestly just walk through it. it has such charm and there are parts where you can watch kids run up and down these little slopes where there are turtles and you can just imagine little Britt doing the same thing (tried to crop the slope things in the thumbnail above).. As I write this I was there today with my mom and aunt. The best mall ever.
Because I promise it's not all about food..... One of mine and my Dad's favorite places to catch up and get a workout in. I have spent hours upon hours here with my dad, friends and with Brendan. white rock just holds such a special place in my heart for cycling, kayaking, walking, running and watching the dogs at the dog park. even better-finish up by a burger at Good Friends, pizza at Cane Rosso or take the trail down to deep ellum to catch live music or amazing hole in the wall pizza, tex mex and bbq.
GREAT food, good shopping and historic sights.
HOLY COW I LOVE DOWNTOWN MCKINNEY. Ok very excited but every time I come to Dallas I have to make a trip here. So many good restaurants- Harvest, The Pantry, Square Burger, Spoons, Sugar Bacon...i mean so many. cute shops-it's got such a quaint cute feel.
Even before my art school days I loved to come to this museum. AS one of the main museums to house amazing. exhibits and rotating shows it's always inspiring to walk through.
Great food, good shopping and people watching. A must every time I am in town.
Ok B and I love this place. They specialize in small non brick and mortar stores and have several brands in one space. Also you can get a cocktail and shop...ummm dream shopping. Also in Legacy West which is the best.
The best gift shop in Frisco, my mom has worked here since I was 5 and it truly is a a one stop shop for gifts and treasures. Also everyone in there has become family to me and i'm so appreciative of everyone there :)
Favorite store in all of DFW. Great clothes, great jewelry, great household items. EVERYTHING is fabulous.
