Brendan: TLDR: the night Britt and I met, I told my buddy that I was going to marry Britt. You can’t make that sort of thing up. And no, I didn’t pick one woman at every party we went to, to tell my friend I’d marry her, just in case I actually did - so I would have a good story. Britt: I had just moved to San Francisco and tagged along with my friend Rosee to a friend's birthday party in the mission district of SF. We left early and as we were walking I remember a guy yelling across the street 'hey rosee! where you going' to which I was first introduced to Brendan (he later told me he ran across the street amidst traffic cause he thought I was cute). Fast forward 4 months and Rosee and my other friend Vic brought a couple of friends to a Halloween party that a good friend (shout out to Julia) from work was hosting. I went along with some work friends and as soon as Brendan walked in we locked eyes, I told him I'd met him before and we immediately started chatting. The rest of the night we talked, got to know each other and pretty much didn't realize anyone else was at the party. We even made date night plans for that week at Mission Chinese (one of our faves) and he wrote in his phone 'Babe and Brind' from there I knew I was in trouble-this guy was the real deal.

So B and I were doing a last day date before I headed home for Christmas. we decided we were going to head up north and eat and just drive- he also had me bring my suitcases so that he could take it home to pick me up the next day early (all part of his master plan). He picked me up and we drove north ate at a quaint little Mexican food restaurant and continued on towards one of our favorite spots-trojan point. It was misty and moody and the day was honestly so beautiful. We drove past trojan point and kept driving and B started to get a little awkward. Pulling over to 'use the restroom' and asking me how to get back. So we turned around got to trojan point and he asked me if I wanted to go up there-I said no, because it was raining but I would if he wanted. to... we chilled for a little bit then he looked at me and said 'i'd like to go up there'. He tried to sway me from knowing what was happening saying, 'what you think is about to happen is not about to happen...' we got to the top, misty and so dreamy and he handed me the sweetest note, got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife :) I didn't even look at the ring haha we took some photos and headed towards Muir Beach to take photos. We started to walk down to the beach and he looks at me and says, 'look who else is here!' both of our parents. I bawled. We celebrated there and then headed to a beautiful airbnb B booked for our parents and we decided we were going to go to one of our favorites-Pelican Inn. We walk in, head to the back and all of our SF best friends were there! We ate warm food, drank good wine and got to celebrate with our families and our California family. It truly was the most perfect day.
