While we adore kids and know they can be super fun, we’re asking that anyone under 18 stay home (or at the hotel) on the wedding night so the adults can really party! However, the activities we have planned for Saturday will be kid-friendly, and would love for your young ones to join. If you are in need of child care in Louisville for Friday night, please reach out to Brittany and Ellis at thompson22wedding@gmail.com
You can find our complete registry at myregistry.com. The specific address is: https://www.myregistry.com/giftlist/thompson22wedding. Individual stores that we are registered at include Pottery Barn, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Amazon
The AC hotel is walking distance (2 blocks) from the venue, so we suggest walking if you can! You might want to bring an umbrella if rain is in the forecast. We will have a shuttle from the SpringHill Suites hotel to the ceremony and from the reception back to the SpringHIll suites since this hotel is not within walking distance. The venue also has free parking spaces available if you would prefer to drive. Limited street parking is available in the area and is free after 6pm on weekdays and all day on Saturday and Sunday. Please note that there is a fee to park in the AC Hotel parking garage (parking at SpringHill suites is free). If you don’t have a car—or you don’t intend to be in driving condition—Uber and Lyft are readily available.
If you’re planning to hang out in the Nulu Area (where the AC Hotel and wedding venue are), then almost everything is walkable. There are plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants, and shops within a 2-3 block radius. Check out the Things To Do page for some suggestions. If you’re planning to explore a bit more of Louisville, then you’ll want to drive or catch an Uber/Lyft. Most places in Louisville either have parking available or have street parking nearby (free after 6pm on weekdays and all weekend). You can usually find a place pretty close to where you’re going. Uber and Lyft are usually pretty inexpensive and easy to come by (though the wait gets longer after about 10pm).
We ask that all guests RSVP by September 07, 2022. You can do so on the Zola website under the RSVP tab. There is also a link and a QR code on the invitations that will take you directly to the RSVP page.
Please see the “Where to Stay” page for hotel information and details on how to reserve a room in one of our room blocks. All of the hotel details are also included on the "Accommodations" card that is included with the formal invitation.
